These are the rules – if you do not follow them, you will get an unsatisfactory Ofsted grading.

The Guidance of the EYFS

The guidance lists the things you should do if you want to show Ofsted you are committed to following the EYFS.

These are the 'should do' bits of the EYFS and allow you to show Ofsted evidence that you are doing your best for all the children in your care. 

The guidance also contains the Learning and Development requirements of the EYFS.

The EYFS Principles cards

The Principles of the EYFS are very useful tools for long term planning.

I use them to make sure I have everything securely in place so that I can get on with the business of looking after the children, playing and having fun!

The EYFS CDRom

The EYFS CDRom contains a wealth of material and guidance and is largely ignored, mostly I think because people get side tracked by the Statutory Requirements.

It is full of useful back up information and is a good place to look if you are not sure about something.

Very large and handy for covering holes in your walls.
